1:
Arrival;
main sights of Bucharest,
incl. Parliament building, Cotroceni palace, Open air
village museum, Calea Victoreii.
Day 2:
To Brasov. En route stop at the Royal Palace and Monastery
of Sinaia.
Cabelcar and trek up to the Bucegi
Mts.
Day 3:
Brasov sightseeing
(Black Church, First Romanian School, etc.). Visit the
Risnov
peasant fortress. Bran
castle - Dracula Myth.
Day 4:
Saxon day: Visit Viscrii
- favourite spot of Prince Charles. Mediaval city of
Sighisoara, a World Heritage Site. Visit the birthplace
of "Dracula"... now a local pub.
Day 5:
Biertan
fortified saxonc hurch - a World Heritage Site. Visit
Seclerland: deep salt mine of Praid,
Korond shopping village, Inlaceni
traditional village - a World Heritage Site.
Day 6:
To
Pietra Neamt. En route stops at the unique Lake
Ursu (Sovata) and at Bicaz-gorge
with the Killer Lake.
Day 7:
Painted monasteries
of Bucovina 1.: Neamt Monastery (PT), Humor and Voronet
Monastery (Iasi).
Day 8:
Painted
monasteries
of Bucovina 2.: Suceava: Putna, Sucevita, Moldovita
monasteries, old jewish cemetery.
Day 9:
Travel day to Bucharest, en route stops
at various places.
Day 10:
Depart or post-extension
